Italienische Serie A

Serie A is Italy's top professional football league. It is contested by 20 teams, and the team with the most points at the end of the season is proclaimed champion. The league has a long and illustrious history, with some of the world's most famous and successful clubs, including Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan, competing in it. It is largely recognised as one of the world's best and most competitive football leagues.

The Scudetto is a trophy worn by an Italian football club that has won the Serie A championship. It is a little shield with the Italian tricolour that is worn on the winning team's jersey. The term "Scudetto" means "small shield" in Italian and refers to a coveted accolade given to the team that finishes the season at the top of the league table. Since the 1923-24 season, the Scudetto has been awarded to the Serie A champion.

Juventus has won the most Scudetti, with a total of 36 titles. The club has a long and successful history in Italian football, and it has recently dominated Serie A, winning the league nine times in the last ten years.

With 20 Scudetti won, Inter Milan is the second most successful team in terms of Scudetti won. AC Milan is third with 19 trophies, followed by Genoa with nine. There have been many other successful clubs in Serie A history, such as AS Roma, SS LAzio or Fiorentina, and the race for the Scudetto is always competitive.
